Reno-Sparks Convention Center Expansion Eyed

Reno-Tahoe’s largest tourism authority is exploring a potential expansion of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center to bolster low occupancy and put the region in the running for larger events, reports the Reno Gazette Journal.

The Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority board voted for two key measures involving the center and its other facilities on November 15 as it signaled a more serious effort to attract bigger conventions to the area.
