The Palm Springs Convention Center is pleased to announce it welcomes their first large event since its closure in March of 2020. To mark this event, a ribbon-cutting was held in the front of the Palm Springs Convention Center with Mayor Christy Holstege, City Manager Justin Clifton, Nona Watson – CEO of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, and community members.

“We are proud to open our first official event and welcome the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce for their annual business luncheon. This is just the beginning and we are excited to be welcoming all our guests back.” noted Rob Hampton, the General Manager of the Palm Springs Convention Center and Bureau of Tourism. “Looking ahead, bookings at the Convention Center through 2022 are very strong.”

The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce luncheon was well attended by over 250 enthusiastic guests that were treated to a delicious meal, catered by Savoury’s. In just a few days the Convention Center will also welcome their first convention and tradeshow with over 850 attendees.
