In celebration of its 110th Anniversary, the iconic Westin St. Francis, the “Grand Dame” of San Francisco’s Union Square, has completed a $20 million renovation of the Tower Building. This is the largest renovation of the building since it opened in 1972 as an addition to the historic 1904 Landmark Building.
The guest rooms and corridors combine contemporary style with modern hotel amenities. Styled in shades of cool blue, ivory, taupe and rusty red, each room features custom-designed dark wood furniture, light-colored wall coverings, plush carpeting and large bay windows with floor-to-ceiling curtains.
Rooms have a chaise lounge or a chair with an ottoman, executive desk and the Westin Heavenly Bed — featuring lush sheets, down cushioning and a patented pillow-top mattress. Bathrooms are outfitted with marble vanities, new mirrors, sconces and the signature Westin Heavenly Bath with a rainfall showerhead and White Tea by Westin amenities. Corridors boast new carpet, wall coverings, ceiling pendants, artwork and elevator landing furniture, tables, lamps and mirrors.
The Westin St. Francis offers 56,000 sf of meeting and event space.
