Park Hyatt Aviara Announces Grand Reopening Following Resort-Wide Renovations

On September 18, Park Hyatt Aviara, Carlsbad, CA will celebrate its grand reopening following a $50M+ transformation. Reinvigorating its history as one of Southern California’s original grand dame resorts, the transformation ushers in the next era for this iconic property with an elevated guestroom and suite product, 50,000 square feet of upgraded outdoor function space in addition to expansive indoor meeting spaces, new restaurant and bar concepts, as well as enhancements to the resort’s striking lobby entrance, spacious public areas and two pool experiences.

• Function spaces – upgraded event spaces spanning 83,000 square feet, including a redesigned outdoor courtyard, terraces, and event lawn with double grand staircase
• Reimagined guestrooms – the new design under WATG celebrates the area’s natural landscape with rolling hills, ocean views, and 200 species of local plants and wildlife
• Restaurant and bar concepts
  • Pacific Perch – the reimagined resort lounge will serve a Pacific Rim inspired menu providing guests with picturesque ocean and sunset views
  • Ponto Lago – debuting later this fall and serving breakfast and dinner, this venue brings the kitchen into the dining room, beckoning diners to become a part of the culinary experience
  • New signature restaurant – in partnership with an acclaimed celebrity chef, the resort will launch in early 2021 an exciting new restaurant concept anchoring the world-renowned Aviara Golf Club, California’s only coastal signature Arnold Palmer designed golf course
