April 5, 2016

Palisades Ranch at Gateway Canyons Resort & SpaGateway Canyons Resort & Spa — a luxurious world-class destination in the heart of the American West — announced Palisade Ranch will open May 1. Guests visiting Palisade Ranch at Gateway Canyons Resort will explore Western Colorado by horseback, drive cattle, learn to rope and discover what life is truly like in the Wild West.

A permanent addition to the property, Palisade Ranch at Gateway Canyons Resort will allow guests to indulge in their curiosity for the spectacular American West every year through ranch experiences such as daily trail rides, ranching education, roping lessons and historic tours through the land that ranching families of the 1800s worked to support the region’s mining industry. Visitors will be able to saddle up, drive cattle or gaze at the stars before returning to their luxury accommodations.

The Palisade Ranch program offers one-, three-, or five-day packages available May 1 through September 30, 2016 including daily meals, activity credits, all ranch experiences, a fireside cook-out, resort transportation, Internet access, use of the fitness center and resort bicycles, along with a complimentary snack basket.

For guests who are amongst the first to book the all new Palisade Ranch Experiences, Gateway Canyon Resort & Spa will donate a portion of their package to the Tug McGraw Foundation. Until April 30th, 2016 mention “McGraw” when making Palisade Ranch reservations and Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa will make the donation directly to the foundation. Noble House Hotels & Resorts has partnered with the Tug McGraw Foundation because of their commitment to helping our veterans return to civilian life, raising funds and awareness for people living with traumatic brain injuries, PTSD and brain tumors.

Ross Bronson, Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa’s equestrian manager, will be in charge of day-to-day operations for the new property. A 15-year veteran of the ranching industry, Bronson grew up riding horses in Southeast Idaho and started training them at the age of 14. Under the direction of his father, he developed his own training techniques by studying and observing some of the top trainers in the country.
