The Huntington Convention Center Of Cleveland Unveils $49M Renovation & Expansion

Following an 18-month long renovation and expansion, The Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland marked the grand opening of its Atrium, featuring an expanded 20,000 sf ballroom. The reimagination of the former Global Center for Health Innovation also includes additional large, flexible meeting rooms with natural lighting; increased common spaces; private suites; and a new rooftop terrace with views of downtown Cleveland.

The renovation provides additional square footage needed to accommodate the emerging trends and demands of the convention industry, as well as versatile, large meeting rooms that can be configured or divided to meet specific event needs, more natural light, unique outdoor space and open areas.

Looking ahead, the Convention Center team and Destination Cleveland have worked together to book 62 future events which will utilize the new Atrium Ballroom.
