20th Annual ALIS Conference In Los Angeles Draws 1,800

The 20th Annual ALIS Conference, which began July 26 and wrapped on July 28, took place at the JW Marriott/ Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles L.A. Live this year. It brought in 1800 attendees, according to published reports. This event followed their 7th Annual ALIS Law event on July 25 to 26 at the Courtyard/ Residence inn Los Angeles L.A. Live.

“For 20 years, ALIS has delivered an unrivaled combination of compelling content, top-tier delegates and extraordinary networking opportunities. Nearly 3100 delegates attended the 2020 ALIS conference, making it the leading and largest hotel investment conference in the world,” according to their website.

The event is set to include industry leaders as featured speakers, breakout sessions and talks on the industry. Topics covered will be everything from Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to what’s hot in technology. Every day will be jam-packed with discussions on the state of the industry today as well as its future. There will be awards presented as well.

The event also offers plenty of time for networking with industry executives. According to their website, out of the people who attend, one in three companies are capital markets (debt and equity) or development firms. Nearly one in three delegates carried the title of president, CEO, Chairman or owner. Over 60% of attendees reported meeting more than six potential partners or assignments.
