Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown Celebrates Massive Renovation

The Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown opened its doors June 26 to area dignitaries, civic and community leaders, and other special guests at an event to celebrate the return of Pittsburgh’s iconic hotel upon the completion of its major renovation project — the King’s Garden Ballroom, which overlooks beautiful Point State Park.

After the expansion, the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown will stand as the largest hotel in the city, with 712 rooms and more than 60,000 sf of meeting space that includes the largest ballroom in the city. The recent updates and hotel features include the 17,000-sf Grand Ballroom; a new gym and fitness center featuring an indoor pool; a high-tech, 24-hour business center; and dining options that include 3 Rivers Restaurant and Lounge and Scenes Lounge.
