The Leadership Committee of ASAE and the ASAE Research Foundation has selected nominees to serve on the ASAE and ASAE Research Foundation Boards of Directors for Fiscal Year 2023 (FY2023), with terms beginning September 1, 2022.
The Leadership Committee develops a pool of candidates for board service based on several criteria, including how they best characterize ASAE’s strategy, represent their organizations’ membership and enhance ASAE’s commitment to diverse representation, which is inclusive of geography, association size, career level, gender, identity, ethnicity, skill sets and areas of expertise.
The committee considered 30 nominations for at-large board seats from highly qualified association leaders. The Leadership Committee is chaired this year by ASAE Immediate Past Chair Stephen J. Caldeira, president and CEO of the Household & Commercial Products Association.
“ASAE is in the midst of an exciting and pivotal stage of evolution under the leadership of Michelle Mason,” Caldeira said. “Recognizing the need for innovative, agile thinking to support ASAE’s growth strategies, the Leadership Committee paid close attention to balance the board with more trade association CEOs and emerging executives in support of the new strategic framework. These nominees will bring a vast array of experience, perspectives and diverse skill sets to bear in support of ASAE’s continued progression.”
