“Our world certainly has changed over the past two years and in order to be successful in this new environment, we must expect new strains of the COVID-19 virus along with other environmental impacts; however, this is why we are in the business events industry.

While the world awaits further details about the Omicron variant, I encourage the business events industry to remain vigilant as we continue to safely deliver engaging experiences that drive commerce, foster community, and equip us with the latest knowledge to advance economies and social good.

Volatility around this virus is expected and will continue, thus we cannot lose sight of the importance of being safe – wearing a mask, being vaccinated – and listening to the facts delivered by medical experts so we can continue to run our businesses effectively.

PCMA is ready to help our members and audiences to stage safe, in-person events following a two-year forced hiatus, and we have implemented the necessary safety precautions. In less than 40 days we will welcome the global business events industry to Convening Leaders 2022 in Las Vegas. All in-person participants are required to be vaccinated.
