In partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Nashville, JW Marriott Nashville will launch Cinema by JW which features free outdoor movie screenings on The Green at JW, the property’s brand new 17,000 square foot event lawn, for which Sony Music Nashville will provide pre-screening entertainment during select viewings. In addition, poolside pop-ups and Goat Yoga classes add to an inventory of on-property experiential summer programming that is bookable through Labor Day.
The new programing aligns with the property’s dedication to providing cultural experiences representative of its downtown Nashville location between the lively atmosphere of Broadway and Nashville’s trendy Gulch neighborhood. JW Marriott Nashville offers 533 expertly-appointed guestrooms, a full-service Spa by JW, an outdoor pool and 17,000 square foot event lawn as well as renowned chef and restaurateur Michael Mina’s first Nashville outpost of Bourbon Steak atop the 33-story hotel.

Cinema by JW
New this summer, JW Marriott Nashville in partnership with Sony Pictures and Sony Music Nashville present a complimentary movie series on The Green at JW, the hotel’s new 17,000 square foot outdoor event lawn in the heart of downtown. Guests will enjoy a night under the stars complemented by a vintage-inspired picnic-style movie experience featuring high-definition projections of some of Sony’s best feature films including Ghostbusters, 13 Going on 30, A League of Their Own, and the 20th anniversary celebration of the Adam Sandler film, Big Daddy.
Doors will open at 6:00pm prior to each screening and attendees will have access to an enticing menu of dining and dessert options from Stompin’ Grounds before and during the film. Movies will begin between 8:00pm – 8:45pm depending on the time of the sunset, and during select screenings, pre-viewing entertainment will be provided by Sony Music Nashville.

Goat Yoga & Brunch
On the first Saturday of each month, guests and locals are invited to exercise and be entertained with Goat Yoga on The Green at JW followed by a locally-inspired brunch at the property’s Stompin’ Grounds Restaurant. In partnership with Shenanigoats, the Goat Yoga class, also known as caprine vinyasa, incorporates light-hearted baby goat interactions into yoga practices creating a balance between the yogi and nature.
After yoga, participants will recharge with Stompin’ Grounds homemade locally-sourced dishes. The restaurant features inspired service, and a vibrant and fresh ambiance that is the perfect start to a day of wellness. Stompin’ Grounds Market is also available for the option of a casual grab-and-go snacks.

Poolside Yoga
In addition to Goat Yoga on The Green at JW, weekly yoga classes will be held at the property’s rooftop pool deck. The urban oasis will be transformed to accommodate a Zen practice amidst the Nashville skyline. Each session is $15 for guests and $20 for non-guests. Poolside Events
The Cabana Club will host poolside celebrations for all of summer’s national holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. This poolside bar and grill, Cabana Club, will offer a seasonally-inspired menu of snacks from the “Skinny Dip” menu, cocktails and more substantial fare as well as gourmet fresh fruit popsicles available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Events will feature live DJ performances and fun seasonal themes including clambake and BBQ. This spring, the property launched Wellness Winesdays, a weekly initiative offering complimentary manicures and wine with the purchase of any 50-minute spa treatment at Spa by JW. Running through the entire summer, these weekly events also include health food items such as granola prepared by the property’s Stompin’ Grounds Market and fresh fruit and fruit-infused water for guests and locals to enjoy. The spa, conceptualized by award-winning design firm, Stonehill Taylor, is a 4,000-square foot sanctuary featuring five private treatment rooms and offer facials, massages, manicures and pedicures using Aromatherapy Associates products.
