Downtown Hotel Wins Highest Level of Achievement Award
CLEVELAND, OH. – Hilton Cleveland Downtown was awarded the 2018 Connie Award on Wednesday, March 20th 2019 at the Hilton Americas Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. The award, named after Hilton’s founder Conrad Hilton, is given to the #1 Hilton in all of the Americas falling within one of two categories….the “Under 500 Rooms” or “500 Rooms Or More”. Boasting 600 guest rooms, Hilton Cleveland Downtown won the latter.
The criteria to win this most prestigious award within the Hilton Hotels and Resorts brand was factored upon the hotels’ Overall Guest Experience, Overall Guest Service, and rankings in their Quality Assurance Score. The award is meant to embody Conrad Hilton’s vision of spreading the light and warmth of hospitality throughout the world and to every guest.
Since the opening of the hotel in June 2016, the hotel has consistently received high markings in all three categories and was awarded the Hilton Service Excellence Award in both 2017 and 2018.
The winning of the Connie award could not have come at a better time, as the Hilton enterprise will be celebrating its 100-year-anniversary May 31st. Additionally, Hilton Cleveland Downtown will be celebrating its three-year-anniversary June 1st.

This is the first time the award has been given to a Hilton Hotels and Resorts property in Northeast Ohio. The property will house the award through the end of 2019.
