Forbes reports that American airports do not have the greatest reputation. Between the interminable delays, the foreboding TSA security checkpoints and beat-up terminals offering bad food at jacked-up prices, “American airports offer a shabby welcome to the greatest nation on Earth,” as the Economist puts it.
What are the worst airports? For many of us, familiarity breeds contempt, so our least favorite is our local airport. For example, the traffic nightmare, big crowds, overpriced everything and wait for rideshare vehicles make my home airport of LAX a tough place.
