United Airlines CEO Says He Expects Business Travel To Return In Full

At the Wall Street Journal Future of Transportation Event, United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby said he anticipates the return of business travel.

He said, “I am firmly in the camp that travel is going to return in full.”

He added that Zoom and such events may replace phone calls, but it will not substitute “building relationships and in-person reaction,” adding, “Business travel is not about transaction, it is about getting to know people and [developing] relationships,” which is what drives business.
