The newest property and flagship hotel under Edwardian Hotels London, The Londoner is situated in the heart of Leicester Square, and is already renowned for hosting some of the world’s most creditable fashion, film and lifestyle brands including the British Film Institute, British Vogue, British Designer, Richard Quinn and Givenchy Beauty.

Boutique in feeling yet staggering in scale, The Londoner offers a multifaceted experience combining the very best aspects of a luxury boutique hotel with a thoughtful range of bespoke meetings and events spaces, to deliver an enhanced new concept that meets the needs for all types of events. The contemporary yet traditional space, designed by world-famous Yabu Pushelberg and in collaboration with architects Woods Bagot, sets a new standard for contemporary luxury hospitality due to its reflection of life in the city, green building credentials, commitment to sustainability, and its appreciation for local culture, all of which are demonstrated through its architecture and interior design, food and beverage outlets, deluxe facilities and guest services.

Jason Kitt, Director of Sales comments: “Completely unlike any other hotel, The Londoner is the world’s first super boutique offering a bespoke events service with scale. Our flexible spaces, including one of the largest ballrooms in the  capital; The Green Room for more intimate events; seven meeting rooms and two private screening rooms from the interconnected Odeon Luxe cinema, ensure we are a top choice for events in London. The hotel will also set a sector  benchmark for digital connectivity with resilient data and communications networks embedded throughout, in order  to meet the demands of our digitally-driven society today.”

The Londoner’s meeting and events spaces comprise the following:

The Ballroom
Setting the bar for 21st-century conference spaces and the jewel in the crown of The Londoner’s events offer is the hotel’s Ballroom. A breathtakingly vast, pillarless marvel in excess of 6,092 sq ft, making this one of the most exciting openings for the corporate and group travel segment, with its impressive capacity to host over 800 guests.

Rippling velvet walls surround a private bar, curated art collection and bespoke Yabu Pushelberg architecture. The  Ballroom is the very essence of forward-thinking technology woven into the design fabric to match all modern-day event requirements and aspirations. Guests can anticipate nothing less than extraordinary custom-designed cocktails and menus, to specialty wedding cakes and London Fashion Week Shows – no detail will be left to chance. Unique to  The Londoner, the space is serviced by two kitchens, meaning that even at full capacity, all guests are served piping hot food with impeccable timing.

Licensed for civil weddings and partnership ceremonies, a dedicated in-house events management team is also on hand to seamlessly manage and consider every detail, from the quality of the cuisine to the finer points of hospitality and personal touches, to ensure every occasion at The Londoner is truly memorable.

The Green Room
Shaped to entertain, The Green Room is a dream space covering 2,820 sq for the Elite Host — a timeless, rich-colored lit soirée room with velvet furniture, and a striking mirrored ceiling and contemporary design. The elegant and intimate but equally versatile space is shaped to host an array of exclusive dining events and parties for up to 150  guests. It is already fitted and finished with a fully stocked bar, dance floor and direct lifts from street level.

The Gallery
For more formal meeting spaces, The Londoner also is home to The Gallery, where the mind and imagination ignite.  A network of seven private meeting rooms, all in different shapes and sizes, are equipped with the latest technology,  and each is named after London galleries with whom The Londoner has a personal relationship — including the National  Gallery, Royal Academy and Somerset House.

Delegates can also simply text EDWARD, Edwardian Hotels London’s AI chatbot, for any support needs — from ordering refreshments and adjusting running orders, to requesting assistance with A/V equipment. Built-in assisted machine learning using Natural Language Understanding (NLU) means more than 1,600 requests can be responded to in different languages.

The hotel has a seven-day menu selection for its meetings and events delegates, as part of a significant investment across Edwardian Hotels London’s wider delegate offering.

Screening Rooms
The Londoner presents an intimate and individual screening experience, powered by the technology of the ODEON.  Complete with two ODEON Luxe West End screening rooms, The Londoner is one of the biggest private venue spaces for hire in the Capital.
