Continuing to expand gateways and ease of access to the island for U.S. travelers, Jamaica welcomed new air service from Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) by its newest airline partner, Frontier Airlines. In keeping with Jamaica’s warm island culture, both inaugural flights were celebrated with traditional festivities upon departure from the airports and arrival into Jamaica.

“We are thrilled to begin partnership with Frontier Airlines through these new flights to Jamaica from two key gateways in the Southeastern U.S.,” said Director of Tourism, Jamaica, Donovan White. “The launch of these new non-stop flights, at a time when international travel from our key source markets is rebounding, is a strong vote of confidence by the carrier for the strength of Jamaica’s tourism product.”

“We’re delighted to expand in Montego Bay with new nonstop service from both Atlanta and Orlando,” said Stephen Howell, senior director of Inflight Experience, Frontier Airlines. “We look forward to welcoming new travelers to Montego Bay for an unforgettable vacation experience. Moreover, we’re proud to offer Jamaicans another affordable air service option with access to connections to various popular destinations across Frontier’s expansive route network.”

Frontier Airlines’ non-stop flights to Montego Bay (MBJ) have now begun operating three times weekly Monday/Wednesday/Friday from Atlanta (ATL) departing at 6:50 a.m. and arriving into MBJ at 8:39 a.m. and three times weekly Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday from Orlando (MCO) departing at 1:10 p.m. and arriving into MBJ at 2:25 p.m. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice, so travelers are encouraged to check FlyFrontier.com for the most updated schedule.
