Visit Savannah Records Strongest Bookings Ever

Destination marketing organization Visit Savannah recently released its year-end report confirming 2014 as its strongest future convention bookings year on record, according to a report inwww.businessinsavannah.com. Total hotel room bookings in 2014 amounted to 202,780, an increase of nearly 20 percent from the previous year, which had 169,383 room nights.

Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli attributed the growth to a number of factors, including an improving economy, increased marketing and, in particular, Savannah’s rising reputation.
