Visit Indy Considers Plans to Expand Convention Center
January 27, 2015Visit Indy announced a record-breaking year for tourism, booking 880,552 convention hotel room-nights for future dates, extending into 2026, according to a report from www.WTHR.com.
Visit Indy’s Chris Gahl said while they haven’t “run into any situations where they don’t have enough space” to host any conventions they’re competing for, “it is incumbent on us as the tourism leaders to see is there demand. Could we sustain another expansion, yes or no?”
