TSA Offering Cash for Ideas to Speed Up Airport Screening

July 29, 2014

If you have a better idea for moving people through airport queues, the TSA wants to hear it, according to a story in the Los Angeles Times.

In fact, the TSA is offering rewards totaling up to $15,000 for the best ideas for a queuing system. The challenge, said TSA spokesman Ross Feinstein, “is about leveraging innovation and out-of-the-box thinking to find solutions to TSA’s most challenging issues.”

The TSA will award one prize of at least $5,000 and others of at least $2,500 for the best ideas.

The deadline is August 15, with submissions being accepted online: https://www.innocentive.com/ar/challenge/9933343.
