The Post Oak opens in Houston in December with a luxury hotel, plus retail and office space.

Texas billionaire Tilman Fertitta is developing the most luxurious hotel in Texas on track for the state’s first five-star rating, The Post Oak, boasting 10 acres of the most unique offerings and amenities the South has ever seen.

Slated to open in December, this 38-story tower offers 250 hotel rooms; a two-story Bentley and Rolls-Royce showroom; a 16,000-sf ballroom; spa and salon; Mastro’s Steakhouse, a favorite among celebrities and athletes; Willie G’s Seafood; luxury retail; and more.

It is the first hotel to offer a two-floor Bentley and Rolls Royce  showroom and heliport available for guests. It will be magnificently designed with a custom chandelier fashioned after the one at the Sydney Opera House (the second-largest chandelier in the world). Guests can choose their preference of bed linens per stay, whether Egyptian cotton or other high-end favorites. Upon arrival, each room will have monogrammed pillows with the guest’s initials. This level of luxury is not available at any other hotel in Texas, and these are just a few of the noteworthy amenities to be offered at The Post Oak.

The ballroom will be the largest in Houston’s Galleria and Uptown area. The 700,000-square-foot tower embraces every desire of savvy business and leisure travelers alike and in addition to the hotel will accommodate more than 150,000 sf of boutique office space, and 20 residential units, all with dramatic interior finishes and unobstructed views of the surrounding neighborhoods and Downtown. The tower’s lobby will be designed with exquisite finishes and furnishings, custom lighting, and views overlooking a stunning pool.

Upon entering the tower, a captivating open plaza greets guests with extravagant artwork and a plush living area. The Post Oak complex is awash in greenery, mature oak trees and tranquil water fountains — a true vision while dining alfresco at one of the many outdoor patios. Walkable thoroughfares lined with luscious oak trees offer guests an enchanting path while making their way to the surrounding district.
