SLS Brickell Hotel & Residences Opens Its Doors in Miami

Los Angeles-based lifestyle hospitality company sbe, which develops, manages and operates hospitality venues, announced the opening of SLS Brickell, its second SLS Miami hotel. The property marks sbe’s first hotel and residence project in partnership with Related Group.
The prominent Arquitectonica-designed, 55-story tower takes its cue from the lively movement of Brickell with a faceted bas relief pattern aiming to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. The project encompasses 124 striking Philippe Starck-appointed SLS hotel rooms and suites and 450 SLS-branded condo residences. Boasting an enviable position on South Miami Avenue, SLS Brickell is just steps from Downtown Miami and the Miami Design District, as well as an array of world-class shopping, fine dining and entertainment options. Spanning an impressive acre of amenities, SLS Brickell is a true urban oasis that will cater to business guests, leisure travelers and Miami locals alike. Infused with art, the property offers a sensory feast, from the arresting vision of Markus Linnenbrink’s mural to the striking lobby sculpture by Bernardi Roig.
The property features premier culinary options from two James Beard Award-winning chefs: SLS Culinary Director, chef José Andrés and chef Michael Schwartz. Alongside the property’s October 21 unveiling, chef Michael Schwartz will launch his first Italian concept with Fi’lia, featuring fresh ingredients from the hearth and the simplicity of handmade artisanal breads and pasta. Shortly after, chef José Andrés will present Bazaar Mar, his latest creative culinary concept celebrating the bounty of the oceans, with a seasonal emphasis on Miami and the Caribbean. Bazaar Mar will serve as c Andrés’ second Miami restaurant and sixth project with sbe. Chef Andrés will also oversee food and beverage for the property’s in-room dining, mezzanine and pool bar.
In addition to its dynamic dining options, SLS Brickell hosts an unprecedented range of 24-hour lifestyle amenities, including concierge services, valet parking, in-room dining, babysitting services and a BMW-7 series house car available for transport within a three-mile radius. A state-of-the-art Fitness Center and the exclusive Ciel Spa will cater to guests’ wellness and fitness needs.
SLS Brickell will provide access to three pools and a hot and cold plunge, all located on the sprawling pool deck where alfresco dining and eight private cabanas will be available.
