Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park Unveils New Outdoor Event Venue

With iconic New York City and Battery Park views, the outdoor plaza (pictured) at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park debuted a new venue for seasonal events in Lower Manhattan. Located adjacent to the hotel lobby, the elevated platform boasts impressive vistas of downtown New York City and the Robert Wagner Park arches.
The plaza can serve as an evening reception venue with high and low cocktail tables, or a less formal daytime event enhanced with picnic benches and outdoor grilling by the hotel’s culinary team. A dedicated Ritz-Carlton event specialist personalizes any event for up to 300 people, while the property’s catering team can develop a menu with locally grown produce from The Battery Conservancy’s Urban Farm, or arrange for an array of food trucks around the plaza. In addition, The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park partners with luxury Kosher catering company Mark David Catering to offer kosher catered events.
The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park offers views of New York Harbor, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, along with meeting spaces for events of any size. Facilities include a 4,500-sf ballroom; Rise, the hotel’s 14th floor indoor and outdoor space with panoramic views of New York Harbor; and Skyline Vista, an indoor space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Manhattan skyline. The outdoor plaza is available from April through October.
