The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge.

Following a several-month remastering of its eight floors of interiors, The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas has officially unveiled new guest rooms, corridors, Club Lounge space and Lobby areas. The transformation showcases even more contemporary features than in prior years, with new finishes inspired not only by current art and design but also by the dazzling skies, landscapes and perspectives of north Texas.

Created in collaboration with Patty Xenos Design Inc., the $9 million Ritz-Carlton, Dallas interior remastering includes:

Guest Rooms

Spacious accommodations now welcome guests with new wall coverings, carpeting and fabric enhancements including paneled wall insets, plush draperies and soft carpeting in cool, muted grey and blue hues. Stylish leather headboards, ergonomic desk chairs, accent chairs, upholstery, bed throws and other luxury linens continue the contemporary use of elegant new neutrals throughout.

Guest bathrooms are upgraded with new wallcoverings and enhanced tile flooring in showers, along with innovative electric vanity mirrors and advanced make-up mirror technology.

Guest rooms offer enhanced technological amenities as well, including multiple plugs for powering electronic devices, a generous built-in storage unit to encase safes for laptops and other portables, updated in-room Nespresso coffee and tea stations and Internet TV providing individual guest room access to streaming web-based content from Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Hulu Plus and Crackle.

Guest Room Corridors

All guest room floor corridors have been stylishly transformed with contemporary carpeting, lighting and wall coverings presented in soft taupe and blue, and flooring accents inspired by the beloved Texas Bluebonnet state flower.

The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge

The Club Lounge has been very visibly reimagined through the dramatic use of hardwood flooring, white marble, stylish carpeting, mirrored ceilings, plush pillows and fabrics, and mother-of-pearl wall treatments. Contemporary furnishings provide comfortable new seating and gathering options, while added dining enhancements include a whimsical china pattern selected exclusively for The Club Lounge, and new induction surfaces providing both heating and cooling for complimentary food and beverage selections. Texas wines, local craft beer by the half-keg and local sodas are rotated weekly to enhance the beverage offering, and the hotel’s pastry team now highlights daily culinary selections with a dramatic and artistic chocolate showpiece. The Club Lounge presents daily breakfast, lunch, tea service, cocktails and cordials for guests of The Club Level.

The Lobby

The Lobby has received a fresh infusion of tonal light colors enhanced by modern accents of violet and rich blue. For lovers of fine beverages, The Lobby is also now home to the hotel’s new Tequila Library — the ultimate gathering spot for lovers of tequila and sophisticated spirits. The Tequila Library was created to complement the Lobby’s famed Guacamologist experience, presenting complimentary freshly made guacamole and mini-margaritas and offered every evening since The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas opened in summer 2007.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas is located steps away from the vibrant sports, arts, entertainment and dining scene of Uptown, while the historic McKinney Avenue Trolley provides complimentary transportation from the hotel to nearby shopping and sightseeing venues. For air travelers, the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field are conveniently accessible, highlighting the fact that Dallas is located fewer than three flight hours from nearly every major city in the continental United States.
