Groups have the added incentive to stay at Omni Hotel at CNN Center, as the hotel is in the final stages of completing a connector that joins both venues, and makes Omni Hotel at CNN Center the exclusive hotel for the Hall of Fame.

The College Football Hall of Fame, Atlanta’s newest attraction, is a versatile event space, for meetings, events and gatherings. The $68.5 million facility tops out at 94,256 sf, with approximately 50,000 sf of event spaces. The Hall can host private events from 10-4,000 guests with creative space, such as the 45-yard indoor Playing Field. The ultra-high-definition Game Day Theater provides guests with a multimedia center that can host up to 150 people for private viewings. There are 10 additional exhibit spaces in the Hall including The Hall of Fame Gallery. The gallery is an inviting space where architectural elements and media pay tribute to the greats of college football. In order to wow event guests, planners can host a cocktail reception in front of The Helmet Wall, where guests will be surrounded by 768 helmets, one for every four-year institution that fields a football team.

The Hall of Fame’s teambuilding experiences range from field goal kicking contests on the 45-yard indoor playing field, skills and agility testing at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Skill Zone, or Call the Play that allows guests to be the announcer for some of college football’s most memorable moments. For a more personalized experience and event, the Hall’s All-Access Pass allows visitors to hear and see information tailored to their team of choice through an individualized RFID number. Additionally, the Coca-Cola Fans’ Game Day Challenge allows groups to virtually play a multitude of football-themed games including trivia and creating mascots.

Omni Hotel at CNN Center will offer customizable menus for all types of events. The chefs utilize fresh ingredients and innovative culinary techniques to create unique presentations. Omni Hotel at CNN Center also offers special football-themed meeting breaks including the Spring Training AM Break featuring fruit and yogurt smoothies and granola bars, as well as the Halftime PM Break with Cracker Jacks, jumbo soft pretzels with mustard, mini corn dogs and more. Catering menus for receptions can be personalized to the host or group’s team loyalty. Sample menu items range from Anaheim citrus-glazed melon with prosciutto inspired by the Pac-12 Conference, to Wisconsin beer cheese soup and Chicago-style hot dogs inspired by the Big Ten Conference.
