Conference and meeting planners now have hundreds of new event space options available to them in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona, at the brand new Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort, which will officially launch on July 21. Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, a $25 million renovation of the former Chaparral Suites Scottsdale is now complete. The property features more than 60,000 sf of flexible, modernized event space, including an 11,000-sf conference center. The redesigned restaurants including the new Granada Bar and Grill, lobby, exterior, landscaping and pools are all part of the 15-acre renovation, providing multiple locations for business functions and social events, as well as plenty of opportunities for recreation and relaxation.

“With this volume of space, we can accommodate almost any kind of event and tailor it to our guests’ needs,” said Alan Klein, general manager. “Because everything has been updated, guests will have the ultimate comfortable stay in our modernized suites, as well as enjoy the pools, the grounds and the proximity to downtown Scottsdale.”

The transformed event spaces incorporate new, modern finishes plus the latest technology, business amenities and audio-visual equipment. Guests can choose from 312 completely new and modernized guest suites, all of which feature two rooms or more. Luxury executive and VIP suites include multiple bedrooms that offer both shared spaces and privacy for larger groups. Every aspect of the guest suites is brand new, from the furnishings to the flooring. The many behind-the-scenes upgrades add to the well-being and convenience of guests, such as the high-grade soundproof doors and windows.

New dining experiences abound. Executive chef John du Toit, originally from Patagonia, Arizona, has revitalized the entire resort’s food and beverage program, blending culinary practices from his global travels and Southwestern heritage to create dishes that are uniquely local, surprising and satisfying. The new Granada Bar and Grill is an urban-American restaurant with a comfortable and contemporary environment located on the top floor of the resort.

The soon-to-be Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort provides guests with a distinctly Scottsdale flavor. Along with traditional architecture and terra-cotta rooftops, other touches include a massive lobby mural of Camelback Mountain, Scottsdale art and memorabilia adorning the walls, and natural landscaping with indigenous plants.
