New Meeting Spaces Land in 2017 at Hyatt Regency LAX

Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) officially unveils its new meeting and event spaces, including a more than 10,000-sf conference center, which will be available beginning on January 1, 2017. The new meeting and event space offers the area’s largest ballroom and only conference center.
Included in the hotel’s redesign is The Hyatt Regency Conference Center featuring more than 10,000 sf of meeting space. The Conference Center will be located on the ground level of the hotel and includes several boardrooms, as well as larger rooms that will accommodate up to 170 meeting attendees. The newly designed Conference Center will include Complete Meeting Packages to address meeting planners’ full range of needs and is equipped with 3GB shared bandwidth and state-of-the-art technology provide optimal performance. The conference center is just steps from LAX’s Terminal 1 and adjacent to a large self-parking garage
In addition to The Hyatt Regency Conference Center, the property boasts dynamic, multifunctional meeting space with 25 meeting rooms and a 14,000-sf ballroom, all appointed with state-of-the-art technology including projector screens, high-speed wireless internet, audio-visual equipment and conference tables with power outlets.
The hotel’s penthouse level Presidential Suite and parlor suites are popular spaces for small, executive meetings. The 1,075-sf two-bedroom Presidential Suite is the largest in the area and offers significant value for meetings with fewer than 10 people, offering modern furnishings and a large table for meetings.
Hyatt Regency LAX also provides meeting hosts the Hyatt More Meetings Offer, which allows companies to earn their choice of rewards for booking multiple qualifying meetings at participating Hyatt hotels. Rewards include Gold Passport bonus points, complimentary refreshments or coffee breaks, and AV discounts.
Located one block from LAX, Hyatt Regency LAX is the ideal host for events of all sizes and preferences — from weddings to corporate cocktail receptions and themed parties. Hyatt Regency LAX boasts the largest ballroom in the area (The Regency Ballroom) at 14,000 sf, as well as outdoor event spaces to accommodate events of all sizes and preferences. While The Regency Ballroom is a perfect destination for larger groups and events, the property is appointed with a number of smaller breakout meeting rooms and intimate event spaces for small to mid-size groups.
Designed by New York City-based SWA Group, a world leader in landscape architecture, planning and urban design, two new Event Lawns (The Regency Park and Regency Grove) offer lush and contemporary space centered around the swimming pool. The distinct Lawns feature shaped pathways and diverse grasses, trees, shrubs, and succulents. Additionally, several cabanas have been incorporated to provide more private environments that make the perfect place to reboot and recharge. The new space will be able to accommodate functions of up to 750 guests.
