Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Of The Ozarks Invites Groups To “Escape The Lake”

The soon-to-be Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake of the Ozarks, which is wrapping up its renovation and rebranding initiative in the next couple of weeks, today launched a new package tailored to groups. The “Escape to the Lake” group package is valid on all 2019 group bookings, giving companies the chance to host a productive meeting while introducing attendees to everything the resort has to offer.

“We are excited to debut this meeting package so new groups can experience our transformation,” said Ann Walters, the resort’s director of sales. “With our plentiful meeting space and variety of amenities, we provide our group guests a one-of-a-kind experience at our unique lakeside paradise.”

Groups booking the “Escape to the Lake” package with 10 or more room nights will receive:

• One complimentary room for every 50 rooms booked
• One suite upgrade at the group rate
• Complimentary screen with the rental of a data projector and cart
• 15% off high-speed internet in meeting rooms
• One complimentary refreshment break with beverages and light snacks
• 15% off one of the resort’s team-building activities

Margaritaville-inspired team-building activities, also introduced today, are designed to get everyone in a collaborative mindset, simultaneously offering a fun way to relax and unwind. Activities include:

• Flip Flop Scavenger Hunt – Someone has blown out a flip flop and now the group needs to find a replacement before they step on a pop top!  Groups will be divided into teams to see who can find the flip flop somewhere on the resort property.
• Harbor Master Mini-Golf Tournament – With a mini-golf course located right on property, groups can divide into teams to see who has the best putt. Teams can win branded merchandise by getting a hole-in-one and correctly answering a Margaritaville-inspired trivia question.
• Fin City Bowling Tournament – Let the good times roll with this fun team building tournament. Test the group’s bowling skills at Margaritaville Lake Resort’s Fin City Bowling Alley. Break up into teams and compete to see who is the best bowler.
• It’s All Fun and Games – Get together for some good old-fashioned outdoor games like corn hole, washers and ladder ball. At dusk, groups can gather around the firepit to toast marshmallows for s’mores and recap the day’s strategy.
