The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego’s multimillion-dollar renovation continues as Bayview, a 2,700-sf private event space and California’s highest waterfront venue, is set to debut. Each of four venues will echo the contemporary design aesthetic that has been introduced throughout the hotel as part of the property-wide transformation. Construction on the 32nd-floor meeting spaces are scheduled to be complete by this fall.

Originally built and utilized as a private residence, Bayview features an expansive balcony boasting panoramic views of the San Diego Bay, Coronado Island, Point Loma and the city skyline. Bayview will be able to accommodate groups of up to 150 for a reception and 90 people for dinner.

“This has been one the most anticipated phases of the renovation since this area has never been open to the public,” said Area Vice President and General Manager of Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, John Schafer. “The updated design and impressive, elevated views will provide a wonderful backdrop for meetings and celebrations of all occasions,” he said.

The hotel, which is located on the Gaslamp Quarter’s waterfront, recently completed the first and second phases of its renovation with the redesign of all 1,628-guest rooms and suites, Grand Club, fitness center and four expansive ballrooms.

Reservations for events and meetings on Bayview and the other 32nd floor event venues are now being accepted.

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, which is comprised of two towers, the 33-story Seaport Tower and the 40-story Harbor Tower, features more than 125,000 sf of sophisticated indoor and outdoor meeting space.
