Continuing the trend of epic growth across the destination, Universal Orlando Resort has completed its historic meeting space expansion at Loews Royal Pacific Resort.  Already the largest meetings hotel at Universal Orlando, Loews Royal Pacific Resort has expanded its meeting and event space from 85,000 sf to 132,000 sf.

The hotel officially unveiled the new meeting space and welcomed Heineken USA as the first group to utilize the expanded meeting area. Heineken USA, a leading brewer of premium beer and cider brands, chose the South Pacific-inspired hotel for its annual employee meeting, which included more than 500 attendees. The company returned to Universal Orlando for its annual meeting, after being impressed by the hotel’s meeting space and world-class Loews service during a previous event.

“The Heineken USA team was honored to be the first to utilize this impressive new space,” said Adelman.  “Not only is it top-notch, it also enabled us to comfortably host our main event and ancillary activities all under one roof. The facilities were truly impressive, the food was awesome and the staff was incredible. Our 2015 employee meeting was such a success.”

The meeting space at Loews Royal Pacific Resort is part of the largest meeting space expansion in the history of the destination.  In summer 2016, Universal Orlando will debut its fifth onsite hotel — Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.  Featuring more than 115,000 sf of customizable meeting space, the Caribbean-themed hotel will be connected to Loews Royal Pacific Resort.  Together, the two resorts will offer 247,000 sf of combined meeting space and 2,000 rooms.  Once complete, the Loews Meeting Complex at Universal Orlando Resort will be a perfect venue for large associations, conventions, trade shows and corporate meetings — right in one destination, with a variety of themed venues, theme parks and entertainment.

With two theme parks — Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure — four (soon to be five) magnificently themed on-site hotels and a dining and entertainment complex, Universal Orlando Resort offers a variety of amazing themed venues, unparalleled entertainment and award-winning catering, allowing groups to never settle for business as usual.

Universal Orlando offers customizable meetings space and a variety of unique outdoor event venues to accommodate groups ranging in size from 20 to 20,000 participants.
