Jamaica Voted Leading Caribbean Destination
September 28, 2016For the 11th consecutive year, Jamaica was named the Caribbean’s Leading Destination at the 2016 World Travel Awards. Jamaica continues to flourish as a destination in 2016, bringing home awards including Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination and Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board.

Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism the Hon. Edmund Bartlett was conferred with the unique award of the Caribbean’s Leading Personality for Outstanding Services to Tourism. This award is in recognition of Minister Bartlett’s dedication to promoting Destination Jamaica, including over 35 years of service in the Senate and the House of Representatives.
