International Live Events Association Global Event Forum

Chicago – The International Live Events Association (ILEA) will bring together a diverse group of 25 elite live event influencers from around the globe to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing today’s event industry at the 2018 ILEA Global Event Forum.

The day-and-a-half gathering, Aug. 15-16 in Denver, CO, will include a series of short talks and facilitated dialogue sessions that will outline key takeaways to improve the future of the live events industry. Topics include the future of the live events industry, commoditization, and professionalism. Additionally, sessions will allow attendees to connect with one another, share their work and ideas, and collaborate.

“The Global Event Forum sets a tone for the work ILEA wants to do going forward: bring leaders of the live events industry together to share their ideas with each other and the world to cultivate change and innovation for future industry growth,” said Ingrid Nagy, CSEP, ILEA President.

Senior executives and event heads from organizations such as AOO Events, e=mc2, George P. Johnson Experience Marketing, Freeman Event Technology, San Francisco Giants, Shaw Communications, and XPL will be in attendance. Participants are from USA, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, United Kingdom and Germany.

The 2018 Global Event Forum builds off of the conversations started at ILEA’s Global Event Summit in Scotland in 2016. Programming will take place at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Following the Global Event Forum, a whitepaper outlining a series of initiatives to address the future of the live events industry will be published.
