IAEE Tech Startup Pavilion and Competition at Expo! Expo! 2018

DALLAS — Oct. 30, 2018 — The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) announces it will feature its fourth annual Tech Startup Pavilion and Competition, brought to you by the Visit Austin and the Austin Convention Center, at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition to be held 11-13 December 2018 in New Orleans, La.

“It’s a privilege for Austin to sponsor this highly impressive competition activated on the floor of Expo! Expo! 2018,” said Visit Austin Executive Vice President Steve Genovesi. “New technology and startups are fueling Austin’s economy and we look forward to supporting companies that want to provide cutting edge ideas for the events industry.”

The Tech Startup Pavilion is open to technology-based companies who have been in existence for less than two years, are a new or second-year exhibitor at Expo! Expo!, have launched a product within the last 12 months, and whose annual revenue is less than $500,000.

The Tech Startup Pavilion is also the staging area for the Expo! Expo! Tech Competition, where these exhibitors have the opportunity to demonstrate their company’s solution in a five-minute presentation followed by a two-minute Q&A session. A panel of industry experts will judge the presentations, then select a winner who will be announced during the IAEE Annual Networking Luncheon & Awards Presentation on Thursday, 13 December.
