1-Main-Overview-Ziva-Zilara-Rose-Hall-400The official grand opening ceremony for Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Hyatt’s first dual-branded, all-inclusive resort in Jamaica, was celebrated March 20. Jamaica’s Prime Minister, Portia Simpson Miller, touted the opening as a “monumental milestone for Jamaica’s tourism.” The Prime Minister joined the resort’s owners and operators, Playa Hotels & Resorts B.V. (Playa), in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and gala evening to mark the official opening of the 620-room resort that is the culmination of more than an $85 million renovation and re-creation of this beachfront site at Rose Hall.

Miller said, “The opening of resorts like these is significant for the tourism industry, our economy and our people. We want our industry to grow not simply in quantity but in quality, and the new Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Hotels represent quality.”

Spanning 1,200 feet of private coastline on the Caribbean, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall share the same resort grounds and combine to form an all-inclusive resort experience. Dining is led by an international culinary team that oversees unique offerings in each of the à la carte, buffet and innovative poolside “food cart” experiences. Dining experiences range from the casual local favorites of Jamaican Jerk to an authentic Churrascaria Brazilian Steak House, to Jamaica’s only Moroccan-style Fez Roof Top Lounge.

The guest experience begins with complimentary airport transfers and an exclusive lounge at Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport. On property, guests enjoy a complimentary round of golf at the world-class White Witch and Cinnamon Hill courses, as well as spontaneous moments throughout the resort — everything from beach activities, to thoughtful insight into Jamaican culture and music, as well as little surprises such as frozen treats delivered by poolside butlers, rum tastings and marshmallow roasts. For additional relaxation there are two beaches, a state-of-the-art fitness center with Pilates and yoga classes. Spa treatments, massages, facials and body wraps also may be booked at an additional charge in the resort’s spa and enjoyed in treatment suites or outside in sheltered oceanfront venues overlooking the Caribbean.

There is more than 18,000-sf of meeting space plus an additional 30,000-sf of outdoor space, as well as a Hyatt trained meeting and incentive staff.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall’s 386 plush suites, including 25 newly created premium swim-up suites, feature oversized terraces with picturesque garden and ocean views. There are two pools, and one oversized hot tub.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall is focused exclusively on adults and features its own gourmet dining and lounges offering premium branded beverages. This exclusive adult oasis boasts 234 elegantly appointed guest suites, including 32 swim-up suites. Guests of Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall can enjoy adult-oriented amenities including chic and contemporary private pools, a pool bar and restaurant surrounded by chaise lounges and Bali Beds, in addition to a private beach.
