Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, Announces “Wine & Watercolor” Classes for Groups

March 22, 2019

Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M. (March 12, 2019) – Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, a luxury resort located on the Santa Ana Pueblo, near Albuquerque, announces “Wine & Watercolor” classes for groups, an activity takes advantage of the resort’s stunning location beneath the 17-mile Sandia Mountain range to offer a creative journey led by local New Mexico artists.

“Putting brush to canvas is a great way to bring attendees together while letting their originality and creativity flourish,” said Chrisie Smith, Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa. “The class is ideal for planners seeking a thoughtful, relaxing, meditative practice to add to their meeting program that also showcases some of the most inspiring views the Southwest has to offer.”

“Wine & Watercolor” takes place on the resort’s back patio featuring unobstructed views of the Bosque cottonwood forest and mountains. A local artist greets participants, provides them with supplies, and teaches them how to use watercolor paints. Guests let their creativity flow to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art while sipping a glass or two of their favorite wine.

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa offers 29,000 square-feet of indoor and 25,000 square-feet of outdoor flexible meeting space. The property features venues including the Cottonwood Pavilion, an elegant space nestled among the Bosque; the Tamaya Ballroom, a 12,000 square-foot versatile ballroom that partitions into eight separate rooms; the Puma and Wolf spaces, with floor-to-ceiling windows featuring panoramic views of the Sandia Mountains; the culturally-influenced House of the Hummingbird, a 7,500 square-foot lawn surrounded by a replica of indigenous ruins; and the Sunrise Amphitheater.
