Hilton’s First Hotel in Vail Debuts

Today Hilton introduces its first hotel in Vail, Colorado — DoubleTree by Hilton Vail. Following a complete renovation, the landmark property features 116 modern guest rooms in one of the most sought-after travel destinations.

DoubleTree by Hilton Vail provides convenient access to the slopes with its onsite ski rental and complimentary shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead, which runs throughout the day. After a day of adventure, guests can unwind with the hotel’s wide variety of onsite offerings, including the massage treatment rooms and soon-to-open outdoor heated pool, hot tub and rustic outdoor fireplace. Additionally, by partnering with Proximity.Space, guests will be able to work, play and relax seamlessly in the lounge area, which is the first coworking space in Vail.

Dining
Enjoy shareable plates and handcrafted cocktails from the hotel’s soon-to-open premier restaurant, Pivot62. The restaurant menu is centralized around the wood burning oven, with meals prepared from locally sourced ingredients to create elevated dishes the entire family can gather around.

Other dining options include Westside Café, serving casual American classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Casa Mexico, opened for both lunch and dinner. Guests can also soon enjoy grab-n-go delights or room service from the Colorado Made Market, perfect for a quick breakfast or take-away lunch to enjoy on the mountain.

In-room amenities and design
DoubleTree by Hilton Vail is home to 116 guest rooms and suites, which feature rustic, wood walls and custom-framed prints of ski equipment patents, further adding to the hotel’s “Mountain Modern” design. Each guest room offers the comforts of home, including complimentary Wi-Fi, HDTV and a live-edge wood desk. The bathrooms are also inviting, exhibiting spa-like designs with back-lit mirrors, round tiles and clean lines throughout. Additionally, guests staying in suites can enjoy a spacious, separate living area and kitchen.

Meetings and events
The property boasts more than 2,782 sf of meeting and banquet facilities through its three event spaces. Perfect for weddings and special occasions, the Terrace Ballroom features 1,935 sf of event space, accommodating up to 200 guests. The spacious venue overlooks the patio and pool area, which can be booked as an adjoining option for an indoor/outdoor event experience. Meetings and events for smaller groups can be housed in either the Wildwood Conference Room, which provides 528 sf of space, or the Executive Board Room, comprising 330 sf and plug-and-play business amenities for the executive on-the-go. All meeting rooms have audiovisual capabilities and access to full catering options.
