Graton Resort & Casino Tops Off Hotel Tower

April 28, 2016

Hundreds of construction tradesmen and women gathered together April 26 along with leadership from the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria and business and community leaders to place the final beam atop the new six-story hotel tower at Graton Resort & Casino, marking a major construction milestone for the $175 million 342,000-sf expansion. As the premier gaming and entertainment destination in Sonoma County’s wine country, the expansion will add accommodations including a full-service, 200-room hotel featuring an opulent lobby, a luxurious 10,000-sf spa, 20,000 sf of flexible event and convention space and an outdoor resort-style pool area. The resort’s expansion broke ground in September and is expected to be completed this fall.

Graton Resort & Casino also unveiled the design for the hotel guest rooms. The hotel’s 200 guest rooms and suites range from more than 500 sf to 2,600 sf and have been designed with a “California casual elegance” inspiration, which includes clean lines and contemporary tones, warm rich colors, natural elements and vivid accent colors.

Station Casinos’ Design and Construction department is managing the design and construction build out of the expansion with the collaborative direction and vision of Greg Sarris, tribal chair of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria.

Located near Rohnert Park, California, the $800 million Graton Resort & Casino is the closest full-service casino to San Francisco. The resort and its new offerings will join the existing array of more than 130 table games, 3,000 slot and video poker games, live poker, an 8,700-sf events center for concerts and special events, and a dozen restaurants and bars.
