Fargodome Authority’s First Look at Convention Center Upgrades

According to KFGO News, the Fargodome Authority has had its first look at conceptual designs for an attached convention center and major upgrades for the 26-year old Fargodome.

General Manager Rob Sobolik emphasizes the preliminary sketches by architects hired by the Dome Authority are very preliminary and will likely to see significant changes as discussions continue with city leaders who will have the final say.

The designs shows a 45,000-square-foot conference center connected to the south side of the building. It includes a hotel placed near the conference center that would not be part of the Fargodome project.
