110,000+-square-foot Exhibition Hall Slated for 2020 Opening
Will Lure New Meetings and Events Audiences to the Legendary Resort and Offer the Highest Levels of Service in the Industry

The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs will soon offer the most luxurious trade show and exhibition hall experience in the industry, as the only Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond awarded hotel in the country to operate a large on-site exhibition space.

When the newly-announced 110,000+ square feet of exhibition space and associated breakout rooms debut in spring of 2020, the resort will be able to provide the highest level of service large conference or trade show attendees can receive.

The Broadmoor has long been lauded as Colorado Springs’ (and one of Colorado’s) top destination for events, whether for a board meeting for a handful of executives or a multi-day conference for 5,000+ attendees.

“The addition of this new exhibition hall is in response to some of our clients who have simply run out of space at the resort but want to continue to leverage and engage with the other amenities our unique property offers,” explained Barry Brown, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We haven’t been able to provide a true trade show experience at The Broadmoor, so the addition of this facility will afford an opportunity for us to work with larger shows and exhibitions that typically book in cities that have stand-alone convention centers.”

The exhibit hall will exclusively be available to multi-purpose exhibits and events held in conjunction with The Broadmoor for multi-day conferences, such as the Space Symposium, the planet’s largest space trade show.

Together the exhibit hall addition and the existing Broadmoor Hall, International Center, and Colorado Hall will work together to comprise “The Broadmoor Event Center.” The combined square footage of the entire The Broadmoor Event Center is now 300,000+ square feet. The new exhibit building will be located next to Broadmoor Hall, and a new 30-foot wide and 180-feet long hallway will serve as a substantial connector – creating a more contiguous space for groups that will utilize both areas.

The new exhibit hall addition exterior will match the Italian Renaissance style of the resort, mirroring the existing look of the classic campus in every way. However, the interior of the space will be less formal. It is designed to accommodate trade shows, exhibits, and new product launches. The facility will also provide 32 breakout rooms, giving groups utilizing the space an opportunity to hold smaller sessions throughout their exhibition. The rooms will be wired with built-in screens and the most modern technology.
