MGM Resorts International recently completed a $10 million suite renovation at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, its iconic AAA Four Diamond beachfront resort on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The redesign of 95 suites capped off a multi-year renovation project that included a newly expanded VIP check-in area and luxurious high limit area on the casino floor.

MGM Resorts Design & Development collaborated with the Beau Rivage team to make enhancements based on guest feedback. The new design was inspired by Beau Rivage’s spirit of Southern hospitality combined with the allure of the Gulf Coast lifestyle to create a sense of place for the guest. Historical black and white photos intersperse with vibrant shoreline shots to capture the coastal atmosphere past and present. Using a color palette ranging from the blue-greens of the local waters and foliage, to the colors of driftwood and sand with accents of sunny corals, yellows and fuchsia pinks, the designers brought a breezy and contemporary aspect to the spaces that redefines Beau Rivage’s ambiance of casual elegance.

The top four floors of the 32-story hotel are private key-access floors and devoted to two, three and four-bay suites including Jasmine, Cypress and Beau Chene, respectively. Each suite was remodeled using sustainable materials such as energy efficient LED lighting and low VOC paints and glues. Each upgraded suite includes state-of-the-art technology including new 60-inch LED televisions, added sound bars for better quality, media hubs for guests to connect personal devices and charging capabilities at each nightstand.

In addition, each suite includes a sofa, electronic drapes, exclusively crafted Bellagio at Home Serta mattresses and his and her bathrooms. Her bathroom has a Whirlpool soaking tub and illuminated make-up mirror. His bathroom has a marble shower and an illuminated shave mirror. The front of the closet has a full-length mirror and each contains an electronic safe. Guests get the use of plush velour bathrobes and slippers during their stay. All suites include turndown service and come with sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico or downtown Biloxi and MGM Park.
