All 480 rooms in the Ocean Tower have been renovated at Resorts Casino Hotel, a Mohegan Sun property in Atlantic City, including 112 junior suites, 14 parlor suites, and one Presidential suite.  The recently completed update is part of approximately $100 million that was earmarked for expansion and renovation of the hotel, which included $35 million spent on the Jimmy Buffett-themed Margaritaville entertainment complex and a state-of-the-art conference center, which opened in 2015.

The $25 million investment in newly renovated deluxe rooms is inspired by a tropical fun theme and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville with sand inspired carpets, coral patterns and tropical dark woods. The rooms include free in-room Wi-Fi, LCD televisions, a refrigerator, laptop sized safe, iron and ironing board and coffee/tea maker. Connecting rooms are also available.  Interior designers Floss Barber Inc. and SOSH Architects, specialists in hospitality design, were chosen for the work.

Aptly named for its close proximity to the beach and Boardwalk, the Ocean Tower has been a favorite of Resorts’ guests since the property opened as Atlantic City’s first casino in 1978. It offers spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, beach, the world-famous Boardwalk, and the back bays of the Atlantic City region.

Resorts celebrated the opening of its new high technology Conference Center in 2015 and now offers 64,000 sf of meeting space, encompassing 24 meeting rooms (14 with natural light and ocean views), four ballrooms and a multipurpose showroom. The largest ballroom can accommodate groups as large as 850 for banquets and up to one hundred 8-by-10-foot exhibits or eighty 10-by-10-foot exhibits. Two theaters offer seating for 300 or 1,350 people with state-of-the-art sound and light technology. With a peak room block of 400 rooms, Resorts Casino Hotel provides up to 160 square feet of meeting and function space per guest room, nearly twice that of a typical conference hotel.

Resorts’ All-inclusive Meeting Packages, an exclusive group meeting option in Atlantic City, are available Sunday-Thursday from $219 per person double or $259 single. Price varies by season and includes spacious upgraded guest rooms, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, Wi-Fi in meeting rooms and guestrooms, audio-visual, parking, all taxes, gratuities, resort fees and meeting room rental, as well as three meals per day in a variety of award-winning restaurants on site. Casino Player Magazine readers proclaimed several dining outlets at Resorts to be the best of 2017, including Capriccio Italian Restaurant, Gallagher’s Steakhouse and Gallagher’s Burger Bar, Margaritaville Coffee Shop, EastWind Chinese Restaurant & Noodle Bar, now open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner.  Landshark Bar & Grill won both Best Outdoor Dining and Best Pool/Beach Bar.  To book a meeting or event at Resorts Casino Hotel, call (609) 340-7850 or visit www.meetatresorts.com.
