$55 Million Overhaul of Cox Business Center to Begin

Tulsa World reports that anyone who’s ever visited Cox Business Center has thought the same thing Kerry Painter put to words recently.

“You couldn’t figure out where the front entrance was,” the facility’s assistant general manager said.

You still can’t. But that’s about to change. The city on Monday will hold a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the beginning of a two-year, $55 million upgrade of the convention center. The project is being funded through the Vision Tulsa sales tax package approved by voters in 2016.
