Discover The Palm Beaches announced $1 million in incentives for meeting planners. The news comes in advance of the new 430-room Hilton Convention Center West Palm Beach Hotel projected to open in January 2016, which will provide a hotel directly adjacent to the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The new property is within the city’s Convention, Arts and Entertainment District.
Groups of from five to 5,000 or more attendees qualify for the incentives if the opportunity is new to The Palm Beaches and will utilize both the Palm Beach County Convention Center and a hotel room block within the county. The incentive encourages meeting planners to consider a wide breadth of lodging options to accommodate their groups’ requirements at a reduced cost (for the events planned prior to the Hilton Convention Center West Palm Beach Hotel’s opening).
More than 50 hotels across The Palm Beaches qualify for this group incentive program with meeting facilities across the luxury, upscale, midscale and select service categories. The incentives start immediately and are applicable through the year 2020.
